Henry Selick is an American stop motion director he has worked on various movies such as; The Nightmare before christmas, James and the giant peach, Monkeybone, Life Aquatic, Moon girl and Coraline. His most recognisable works are The Nightmare before christmas, James and The Giant Peach and Coraline.

I really like his work as he has a great imagination and his animations are at a great quality. It's not just the quality that catches my eye I love that he still uses traditional animation but makes it look top notch like computer animation. Many people say that stop motion animation is dying out but in my opinion, with Henry Selick and Tim Burton around i doubt that it would fade away anytime soon due to them making amazing stop motion animations showing that traditional animation can handle the competition.
