Stop Motion is my favourite type of animation, it can be created using various objects. The type that I think works best is armature animation such as Nightmare Before Christmas by Tim Burton, Paranorman and Coraline by Henry Selick. Although there are still some incredibly good claymation like Mary and Max, Wallace and Gromit and various television programs.
I enjoy creating stop motion animation as it feels more realistic but you can still go crazy with it like drawn animation. It also gets you more involved due to it being a more hands on process. I would like to create stop motion animation in the future, for a more mature audience.
