Character design - mood boards

Hansel's Mood board 

From this mood board I am taking the idea that Hansel will have blonde hair and will have a similar body shape as Hiccup from how to train your Dragon. I want this sort of body as it seems the right age, I am making Hansel to be between 8 and 10. As at this age they are still children that are vulnerable but they also should know right from wrong. I also want to go for big eyes with all the characters like the character Victor. For the clothing I am going to go for the usual boys clothing like what T.J from Recess is wearing as it is quite relaxed and casual.


Gretel's Mood Board

Like Hansel, I want Gretel to have big eyes this is to make sure all the characters have similar features so they are from the same world. Gretel is younger than Hansel so I want her to wear very bright clothing that suggests this. I may go for blonde hair again as it will make Hansel and Gretel look more like siblings. 

Old Lady's Mood board

The old lady is to have a more fatter body than the children as she has aged alot. she will have lots of gray hair to suggest she is very old. I am going to try and o for a more friendlier old lady as I want her to be able to be vulnerable. Also her clothing will be quite old fashioned this then also represents her age.
