Story

• 15 years on from defeating the witch as children
• Hansel is now diabetic after being forced to eat candy as a child
• They find themselves immune to witches powers
• Hansel and Gretel are now witch hunters who are hired to kill witches
• Hansel and Gretel find out that their mother was a grand white witch, who had fallen in love with a farmer
• Their mother was found out and both their parents was killed by the village people
• Their father had managed to save Hansel and Gretel by sending them into the woods
• They manage to defeat the witch they was hired to kill along with finding out where they have come from and why they are immune to the witches powers

I think that this adaptation works really well as a follow up to the original story of Hansel and Gretel. You get to find how those helpless children have grown up and what they have done in their life. I really like the idea that they have gone for witch hunters as they did manage to defeat the witch that kept them as children. It makes sense that they have dedicated their life for saving other helpless children. I like the darker theme that they have chosen to present this movie in as it goes along with the story and the overall atmosphere that you feel. I see this film more as a action film than anything else, it feels very fast tempo and their are a lot of countless fighting scenes, some that were probably not really needed. But overall it is a very well presented film.
