Bioshock Infinite - a city in the sky,clean and utopian - underlying problems (racism). The city has regressed to a time when racism was prevalent. (Heaven) the perfect utopia, Christian version - can unleash devastation across the world. They worship Comstock in replacement of God.
The Matrix - Everyday life is a computer stimulation created by machines to enslave humanity, The real world is destroyed (dystopian)
Mad Max - Dystopian, Futuristic, civilisation has collapsed - stopped human progression, not what you would expect. The Thunder Dome draw parallels to the Roman Colosseum, how the collapsing civilisation has regressed back to the time when we would force people to fight to the death for entertainment purposes. Energy shortage and oil supplies dried up, caused civilisation to collapse.
Fallout - Pretty much came from Mad Max but took it further with more environments etc.
