Dishonored

Dishonored is a first person sandbox game with emphasis on stealth gameplay. It is developed by Arkane studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. Dishonored has clearly gone into depth and detail throughout the game with its distinctive art style. To me the art style seems to mirror the visual affects of oil paintings.  The city of Dunwall was created through inspirations from the late 19th century to the early 20th century.  It has been said that Dishonored has used this particular art style to cover up the technical limitations of the current generation of games console however all official sources have always denied these claims.
