We have been learning an alternate way of a waving flag instead of using the cloth stimulator as unity doesn't like to use that type of animation. The way that we have been learning is that you create joints and bind them to your object you would like to animate once you have joined them, you apply handle at either end to manipulate the structure. You move it however you want in order to suit you. You then set key frames to make an animation that can be looped. I have used these dynamics in order to create my canopy however due to lack of timing I was unable to include it in my actual environment as the textures was unfinished and it wasn't polished off like my other models.
