Modelling in maya

I had a lot of trouble trying to model what I had drawn, This is because I am not a professional in using maya. Although so far I am happy with what my models look like. I really tried to get as much texture on the models as possible to make them look realistic and then afterwards I will input the lines to make it look realistic but also comic like. I have also tried to add dark colours to make the fear bit come out more and give you the sense that it is calm now but wasn't before.
