The rigging was extremely difficult as I have never done this before. I did encounter a lot of problems, but doing the task has helped me to understand more about how a rig works. Doing the rigging also taught me that IK handles are very useful in controlling certain areas. I have tested out the rigging and it seems to be working ok, the next step is to animate.
